Metpress is suitable for use with hard, half hard or annealed Type A and B copper tubes complying with AS1432. The copper press-fit connection systems for water and gas feature a colour coded Leak Detector which is used to identify unpressed fittings during pressurisation of the system.

Metpress water fittings are manufactured in accordance with AS3688-2016 and are fitted with FKM (for ball valves, brass fittings) and O-rings, making the system flexible to be used on potable and solar water installations up to 120C.
