At Austworld, we believe that a strong community is the foundation of a thriving business. Our commitment to social responsibility goes beyond providing high-quality plumbing products; it extends to actively participating in and supporting various community initiatives. We are dedicated to making a positive impact through partnerships with charitable organisations, educational institutions, and industry associations. Our culture page highlights our ongoing efforts to give back to the community, support those in need, and foster the next generation of talent in the plumbing industry. By working together, we aim to create a brighter, more inclusive, and sustainable future for everyone.

AWLQ (Animal Welfare League Queensland)

In line with our commitment to corporate social responsibility and our love for animals, Austworld has partnered with AWLQ by sponsoring a gold kennel. This sponsorship provides essential food and shelter to abandoned and homeless animals, offering them a second chance at life. Our support ensures that these animals receive ongoing care, keeping them safe, properly nourished, and enriching their lives.

Pet Rescue

At Austworld, pets are more than just companions—they are part of our team. Building on the success of our recent fundraising efforts for Pet Rescue, we are excited to announce an ongoing charity drive focused on our beloved plumbing pups. For every Austworld event, from trade shows to golf days and BBQs, we will match every dollar donated to the Pet Rescue Organisation. This means your generosity will be doubled, helping even more pets find their forever homes. Stay tuned for our events and get ready to contribute—every dollar counts in making a difference.

Bravehearts

We have launched a fundraising page in partnership with Bravehearts to support their vital initiatives. Looking ahead to 2025, Austworld will sponsor the Bunnies for Bravehearts project. This initiative, close to our hearts, involves donating plush bunny toys to children undergoing trauma counseling, providing them with comfort and emotional support. Partnering with Bravehearts allows us to make a meaningful impact in our community, and we extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone supporting this worthy cause.

TAFE Queensland

Austworld is actively engaged with the community, especially with aspiring young plumbers. In collaboration with TAFE Queensland’s Ashmore Plumbing Department, we are shaping the future of the plumbing industry and developing a Community Legacy Program with TAFE Queensland’s Plumbing Department in Ashmore. This initiative aims to engage and inspire young apprentices by connecting with dedicated teachers and bright students shaping the future of the plumbing industry.

By working closely with dedicated educators and students, we reinforce our commitment to nurturing talent within the sector. This year, we hosted World Plumbing Day with TAFE, where we listened to inspiring stories from both educators and students, strengthening our resolve to leave a lasting legacy in the plumbing industry.

NAWIC (National Association of Women in Construction)

Austworld  collaborates with various chapters of the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) across Australia. NAWIC welcomes women in construction and their allies from all walks of life, cultures, ages, and career stages. Their members work in diverse environments—from remote and regional locations to cities, farms, and factories. As a not-for-profit organisation, NAWIC champions the diverse collective of great people doing remarkable work in construction, from apprentices to CEOs. We support NAWIC's mission to foster diversity and inclusion within the industry.

Griffith University

Every year, Austworld hosts students from Griffith University’s Queensland College of Art and Design (Southbank and Gold Coast Campuses) at our HQ. These students present their innovative projects as part of their ‘designing with industry’ experience, tackling significant challenges in plumbing design. Their work includes creating user-friendly tapware for an aging population and designing unique shower heads that enhance the daily shower experience.

This collaboration aligns with Austworld’s commitment to innovation and excellence in plumbing solutions. Together, we are fostering the next generation of talent and shaping a future where design and functionality seamlessly converge.

WIRES

We proudly contribute to WIRES, Australia’s largest wildlife rescue organisation, every month, supporting a dedicated community focused on protecting the country’s wildlife. Our donations help ensure that rescue teams can provide emergency care to distressed native animals, giving them a second chance at life in the wild.
